Service Description
Calling all female riders! Discover the thrill of mountain biking in a supportive and empowering environment at our Girls Mountain Bike Skills Clinic for ages 8 and up. Athletes will embark on a journey through Edmonton’s scenic trails while gaining confidence, honing their skills, and embracing the camaraderie of like-minded girls. Our expert instructors, who are not only skilled riders but also enthusiastic mentors, are dedicated to providing personalized guidance, ensuring every participant feels comfortable and empowered. Clinics start with 30 minutes of instruction and skill development. Groups then head onto singletrack trails to ride and practice the skills on the trail. Clinic Highlights: Skill Development: Learn fundamental techniques such as body positioning, braking, cornering, and climbing. Our experienced coaches will break down complex maneuvers into easy-to-understand steps, allowing riders to progress at their own pace. Safety First: We prioritize safety with lessons on proper gear, bike maintenance, and trail etiquette. Understanding the importance of safety fosters a culture of responsible riding, ensuring everyone's well-being on and off the trails. Community: We encourage an atmosphere of mutual support, where we celebrate each other's successes and offer a helping hand when faced with obstacles. Inclusivity: We celebrate diversity and welcome riders of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities. Our clinic is committed to creating a space where everyone feels respected and valued, fostering a sense of belonging. Fun: Beyond the technical aspects, Transcend is about having fun and feeling empowered. Riders will leave each session with a newfound confidence in their abilities and a network of female riders by their side.
